If you have not yet registered for the new WHSmithnet service please click here . When you register for the WHSmithnet service you will be asked to download the WHSmithnet launcher. This WHSmithnet launcher will appear every time you access the Internet through the WHSmithnet icon on your desktop and offers you a range of tools to help you make the most of the Internet. WHSmithnet E-mail: To send and receive your WHSmithnet e-mail simply click on “Access E-mail” on the left hand side of the WHSmithnet launcher screen. This will open Outlook Express and allow you to write e-mails and check for new messages. You can also read and write e-mails when you are offline - to find out how click here for further information on Outlook Express . Surf the Web: To access the Internet simply click on “Surf the Web” and a browser will open automatically. Alternatively, click on “Connect” to access the Internet – you can then open a browser by clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop or task bar. To disconnect from the Internet, right click on the WHSmith icon on your task bar and select “disconnect”. If you close down your browser you will be asked to confirm that you wish to disconnect from the Internet. Change your WHSmithnet Internet Access Package: Change your Internet Access package by clicking on “Advanced Settings”, selecting the “Account” tab and clicking on “Setup”. This will take you into our Registration Wizard and allow you to update your settings to an alternative access package. You can also change the way you access the Internet through WHSmithnet by e-mailing internethelp@whsmith.net or calling our Customer Service desk on 0870 010 9098.
