This is especially true for Peter, who's in Grade 4, and has a little brother named Fudge. Fudge is only two and he's terrible, but he gets away with pretty much everything. In Judy Blume's Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing , Peter loses all patience when Fudge takes Dribble, Peter's pet turtle. See, Fudge's already messed around with a bunch of Peter's things. Parents finding it difficult to mediate between squabbling siblings may want to hand over this book to the older of the two. From the Publisher Living with his little brother, Fudge, makes Peter Hatcher feel like a fourth grade nothing. Whether Fudge is throwing a temper tantrum in a shoe store, smearing smashed potatoes on walls at Hamburger Heaven, or scribbling all over Peter’s homework, he’s never far from trouble. He’s a two-year-old terror who gets away with everything—and Peter’s had enough. When Fudge walks off with Dribble, Peter’s pet turtle, it’s the last straw. Peter has put up with Fudge too long. How can he get his parents to pay attention to him for a change? About the Author Judy Blume is known and loved by millions of readers for her funny, honest, always believable stories. The Seattle Times, August 03, 2002: Toronto - Indigo Books & Music and a group representing Canada's independent booksellers said they will challenge in court a government decision letting Amazon.com set up a Canadian Web site. Indigo, Canada's largest book chain, and the Canadian Booksellers Association said Amazon.com has violated rules that bar non-Canadians from controlling bookstores. Seattle-based Amazon.com is paying Assured Logistics, a unit of government-owned Canada Post, to run a Toronto-area warehouse and deliver books, music and movies ordered through the month-old Canadian site, Amazon.ca. That way, Amazon doesn't operate a bookstore in Canada. "The Heritage Department has confirmed Amazon.ca is operating in accordance with Canadian laws," said company spokeswoman Kristin Schaefer.
